"As a young man, my father taught me to take care of the women in my life. I learned quickly, and I’ve always enjoyed spoiling my sister and mother. He’s also no stranger to my live performances. I’ve always given a little extra when he’s been in the audience. This night was special because I was able to show him, while he’s still here, that I appreciate and love him. In a room full of the glitter and glamour that is Butter on a Monday night in NYC, my father received the applause I believe he deserves."
